Routine Maintenance Along the Right-of-Way: How does it work?

Right-of-Way Clearing – Explorer performs right-of-way clearing to remove vegetation such as trees, shrubs, and overgrowth to make the pipeline visible and accessible. Right-of-way clearing may include mowing, clearing, and side trimming tree limbs that extend into the right-of-way.

Right-of-Way Patrol – Explorer inspects the right-of-way on the ground and by aerial surveillance. Aerial patrols look for right-of-way encroachments and unauthorized work along the right-of-way.

Maintenance and Inspection – Explorer inspects and maintains above-ground appurtenances such as valves, test leads, and rectifiers.
